A recent survey of the Blue Plaques has revealed that unfortunately seven of the plaques are missing, believed stolen. The missing plaques were at locations 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 11. Members of BHG are in the process of developing a new Blue Plaque scheme which will replace those missing, refurbish existing and also provide twelve additional ones. A free guided walk leaflet and two information display boards will also be produced to complete the scheme. Updates will appear on this page regarding the scheme.
